15 = ~15% chromium in the alloy
- Tempered to 58° HRC, with DLC coating increasing surface hardness to ~104 HRC
- DLC finish makes blade surface non-stick, scratch resistant, and highly corrosion resistant
- Dishwasher safe, but hand wash strongly recommended
- Regular honing maintains performance; DLC finish reduces frequency of sharpening
